Terms and Conditions For Courses

By accessing and using this service, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

 

Booking a Course:

Booking Confirmation:

Upon booking a course you will receive a confirmation email, this will contain details of your course, the date and place it will be held as well as your receipt. This confirmation will arrive in your given email up to one working day after your order, if you do not receive the confirmation email you must get in touch as this email will be used for your admittance on the day. If this confirmation is not received and you do not get in touch, we may refuse admittance with no refund for the course.

 

Course Cancelation:

Before you cancel for a full refund you must re arrange for another date at least once, this may only include dates after your original booking unless specifically negotiated with us, the re booking may be for a different course of the same value.

After attempting one re booking to cancel a course and receive a full refund you must notify us of your intent to cancel 31 or more calendar days prior to the start date of the course. If IA Studios are notified of your intent to cancel less the 31 or more than 15 calendar days you will be eligible for a 70% refund if we are notified less than 15 or more than 5 calendar day you will be eligible for a 50% refund, whereas if we receive notice less than 5 calendar days you will not be eligible for and refund.

If your course was booked with a voucher, then you will only receive a refund in the form of a voucher rather than a cash value.

We advise that you book your course well in advance and keep in contact with us so we can accommodate your needs where possible.

 

Refund:

To be able to claim refund you must be able to produce a booking confirmation.

Any refund given will be paid back to the same account we received it from.

 

Items made on courses:

Our courses are focused on the learning gained while in attendance of the course, while we will do what is reasonably expected to ensure the customer leaves with the item they came to make this is not guaranteed to happen due to the leaning nature of the course.

IA Studios does not give any guarantee for the function of items produced on the course.

IA Studios is not liable for the items produced on the course, this includes any injury or damages caused through the use or misuse of the item.

 

Refusal of admittance:

IA Studios and its employees reserve the right to refuse admittance to a customer for a variety of reasons for your safety as well as ours. We will exercise this right if IA Studios and any of its employees believe a customer,

is intoxicated through drink or drugs,

is aggressive or abusive to members of staff or other customers (this includes physically or verbally),

is presenting a danger to themselves or others through inability or unwillingness to follow direction,

has arrived too late that they cannot safely be caught up to meet the group or the goal or the course.

These reasons are not limited to those listed, IA Studios may take action to refuse admittance or remove from the premises anyone who they believe may cause damages to persons or property under any circumstance.

If refused entry in under these circumstances, you will not be eligible for any refund.

 

Personal safety:

We have taken every care to deliver our courses as safely as reasonably possible, this being said customers should be aware that the activities undertaken are inherently dangerous and there is a possibility that customers will receive small burns, cuts, bumps or other injuries of that nature. It is imperative that customers follow every instruction that staff give this will keep customers safe and reduce the possibility of injury. You must understand the dangers of the activity and you will take responsibility for your own safety.

We will provide all necessary PPE to undertake the course, customers may bring their own, but it must be CE marked and we may refuse the use of any item if it is unfit or may inadvertently compromise your safety in certain scenarios.

Due to the nature of the work taken on the courses being physically demanding you must be able to undertake the physical work, while we will be there to help and accommodate your needs through different working techniques and use of equipment you must be physically fit to take part, if you are in any doubt of your fitness and suitability you must check with your GP to assess your ability.

If it shows that you are not physically able to take part in the course on the day, we will have to stop your participation for your safety, and you will not be eligible for any refund.

 

Complaints:

If you have any complaints regarding your participation in an IA Studios course or any aspect of our service, you must speak to us on they day as it arises, this will allow us to work through the issue and find a solution, we will not be responsible for any complaint brough to us after the fact. If the issue cannot be resolved then and there, we will continue to work with you, where reasonable, after the fact to find a resolution. Any communication must be in writing to allow us to keep a record and allow us to resolve the issue properly.
